The 3 hour drive from Houston was well worth it for the show! Philadanco, among the elite of the current crop Rock acts today, continues to impress. Amaryllis, their new release, had six hits showcased during the performance. Enemies and Nowhere Kids rocked harder than expected live. Adrenaline, as the cd opener, rocked fittingly. Unity and Bully had a strong vibe in the live setting. Sound of Madness was also a highlight of the show. Devour, Second Chance, The Crow, and The Butterfly were performed from The Sound of Madness. The women in the audience were thrilled with If You Only Knew. Save Me was the only song performed from the Us and Them album. .45, Simple Man, and Fly From The Inside were done from Leave A Whisper. Frontman Brent Smith is compared to Ian Astbury for his showmanship and demeanor. Philadanco continues to be badass. An incredibly awesome show with a promising future.
